MultitaskAI allows you to upload files and extract their content to use as context in your conversations with AI models. By attaching relevant documents, images, or other text-based formats, you provide the AI with targeted information to achieve more accurate and context-rich answers.

Uploading Files

Uploading files is a simple process that ensures the AI has access to the data you want it to reference:

1. Access the Files Section
   Navigate to the Files tab in MultitaskAI at multitaskai.com/files.

2. Upload Files
   Click on Upload Files or drag and drop your files into the designated area. Supported types include documents like .pdf and .docx, as well as images (.png, .jpg, .jpeg), where text is extracted via Tesseract OCR.

3. File Parsing
   After uploading, MultitaskAI will parse the files and store extracted text for easy reference during conversations.

Managing Files

Once uploaded, you can perform various management tasks to keep your files organized and accessible:

• View and Edit Files
  Click on a file to view its content, and optionally edit the extracted text if needed.

• Favorite Files
  Mark important files as favorites for quicker access, saving you time in large repositories.

• Search and Filter
  Use the search bar and filters to locate specific files by name, type, or extension.

Using Files in Chats

To leverage uploaded content within your conversations, simply attach the files you need:

• Attach Files to Messages
  In the chat input, click on Add File. Select one or more files to include in the AI’s context, improving the relevance of responses.

• Referencing Files
  During the conversation, mention the file names or snippets of their content to guide the AI effectively.

Combining Files with Agents

Agents can also benefit from any relevant files you’ve uploaded. By combining agents with specific file attachments, you ensure that the AI assistant has all the domain-specific data necessary to generate precise and helpful answers.

  While creating or editing an agent, attach files directly so they are automatically included as context for that specialized AI configuration.

Supported File Types

MultitaskAI accepts a broad range of file types:
