API Keys

Obtaining Your API Keys

To use AI models within MultitaskAI, you'll need to provide your own API keys from OpenAI, Anthropic, and/or Google. These keys allow MultitaskAI to connect directly to the AI models while keeping your data private.

OpenAI

Visit the OpenAI Platform.
If you don't have an account, click Sign Up and follow the instructions.
If you have an account, click Log In.

2. Navigate to API Keys

Go to https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys.
Click on Create new secret key.

3. Create a New API Key

A modal will appear with your new API key. Copy this key now, as it won't be shown again.
Store it securely; you will need it to configure MultitaskAI.

4. Add Funds to Your Account

Visit the Billing Overview.
Click on Add to credit balance and follow the instructions to add funds.
Ensure you have sufficient balance to use the API services.

Anthropic

Visit the Anthropic Console.
If you don't have an account, click Sign Up and follow the instructions.
If you have an account, click Log In.

2. Navigate to API Keys

Go to https://console.anthropic.com/settings/keys.
Click on Create Key to generate a new API key.
Copy your API key and store it securely.

3. Add Funds to Your Account

Visit the Billing Settings.
Click on Add funds and follow the instructions to add funds.
Ensure you have sufficient balance to use the API services.

Google AI Studio

Visit Google AI Studio
Sign in with your Google account or create one if needed

2. Get Your API Key

Once logged in, you'll be able to access your API key
Click on Create API key to generate a new API key
Note: Keep your API key private and never share it publicly

3. Add Your API Key to MultitaskAI

Open MultitaskAI and go to the Settings page
Under API Keys, find the section for Google API Key
Paste your API key into the input field
Click Save to store your key securely
MultitaskAI will validate your key to ensure it's correct

Configuring the API Keys in MultitaskAI

Access MultitaskAI Settings
- Open MultitaskAI and navigate to the Settings page.
Enter Your API Keys
- Under API Keys, find the sections for OpenAI API Key and Anthropic API Key.
- Paste your respective API keys into the input fields.
Save Your API Keys
- Click Save to store your keys securely within the app.
- MultitaskAI will validate your keys to ensure they're correct.
